According to store owner Pat Evans, this year’s talent includes headliner Elvin Bishop; Rick Estrin and the Nightcaps (formerly Little Charlie and the Nightcaps); Van Morrison’s daughter, Shana Morrison; Patrick Sweany; local band the Flying Arvizu Brothers; and Paul Perez.

“The B-Town blues Fest is a great way to hang out, see the wonderful people that enjoy and support community-based music efforts, get some food and drink, and live a cool show,” Evans wrote in a recent news release.

The festival, which benefits Houchin Blood Bank, will go from 3 to around 10 p.m. A crane will hold up “a huge panel” west of the amphitheater to provide shade from the late-summer sun, Evans said.

The quarter-century-old World Records, a local institution to many, needs to sell 1,500 tickets to pay for the festival, Evans said. Admission prices are:

• Reserved table tickets, $40 each ($300 for a table for six, dinner included);

• Lawn tickets, $30 for adults 26 and older; $20 for adults 18 to 25; and free for children 17 and under.
