How did you get started in racing? "My parents bought me a go-kart what I graduated Kindergarten in 1980 and I have raced ever since."
Who are your biggest influences? "Growing up an Indy Car fan and being from Bakersfield, everyone wanted to be like Rick Mears."
Do you have any rituals before a race? No Rituals
What was your most memorable race? "I have won many races throughout my career, but the most memorable win has to be last years Daytona 500."
Do you have any special Mesa Marin memories? "Mesa Marin is the track where I got my start. The Collins family was a big part of my career, giving us somewhere to race and being very supportive of my racing career. Just being able to learn how to race there was a big part of what I get to do today."
What do you like to do when you are not racing? "Anytime I have the opportunity to get a way from the track I like to spend at Kevin Harvick Incorporated or at home with DeLana and the dogs."
